Giving You My Mind, One Piece at a Time

An Odd New Normal?

First of all, don’t expect enumerated productivity lists on either Monday or Thursday mornings – I’ve declared that Sunday and Wednesdays will be my “weekends” going forward. Yeah, I know it’s not two consecutive days, but these are my “errand days” so it makes sense not to work quite as hard as the other days.

Secondly, it appears I can only get a good night’s sleep if I sleep in my recliner. At first, I thought this might be a bad idea due to muscle aches or “kinks” from sleeping in an odd position. It’s turned out to be quite the contrary, however, and I’m waking up less and sleeping deeper when I just give up and sleep in the living room.

It’s currently 28F with a forecast high of 47F for today. I didn’t get to mail Dad’s letter yesterday, and honestly, I’m not sure it’s going to happen this week. Yesterday they had said there were icy patches on the roadways, today it’s still cold, and I have no idea what tomorrow may bring.

I still have more tidying up to do before Matthew gets here to do my pest control service this afternoon. It’s time for my annual termite treatment, combined with my normal quarterly treatment inside. Oh darn, that means I need to find the key to the crawl space, I sure hope it’s on my keyring, otherwise, I know what I’ll be doing next.

I’m already off to a “late start” this morning as I got a full eight hours sleep last night (go me). I feel behind, even though it’s still not 6 a.m. yet. I’m so used to getting up at 3-4 a.m., that sleeping until 5:30 a.m. feels strange.

May you love the life you create for yourself. Namaste & ciao for now.

Talking about sleep, on Thursday night, had gone to bed at 9:20pm and woke up at around 10am Friday morning. Very unusual for me but had needed it.

Wow, that’s fantastic. While my overall sleep can be that long, I can never sleep more than six hours tops without having to get up to go to the bathroom.

By the way, not that its any my business but don’t get into the habit of sleeping upright for a long period of time as this will affect you in the short term. Long term will only give you more medical problems. I know and have learnt from experience 🙂

Two (2) that I can think of immediately are blood clogs forming in the bottom part of your legs &/or odema.
