Two Steps Backward, One Step Forward

My enumerated list from yesterday:

  • Created daily quote graphic
  • Updated my main blog
  • Posted “Question of the Week” to my training site
  • Updated content on my training site
  • Responded to user requests on my training site
  • Updated Adventure Log at eCourse Adventures
  • Purchased new domain name
  • Updated new domain DNS
  • Created new domain email address
  • Worked on eCourse
  • Completed “bootstrap checklist”
  • Created next task list

Yep, you read that correctly, I bought another domain name. The curse continues. However, as I get a clearer picture of the web of marketing that I want to create, this is really the first SEO-driven property that I plan on building. I need one to drive traffic to my other properties. This one is going to be training focused via eCourses of all price points – a very content heavy site.

I’m really enjoying the content series I’m posting on my membership site. It’s on social media management tools. I’ve got a list of 18 tools that I am reviewing in alphabetical order. It’s kind of cool because this one idea is giving me daily posts for almost three weeks. Basically, I’m just documenting the research I’m doing to find the right tool for my personal use.

My sleep schedule is so whacky after that one all-night phone call last week that I can’t even begin to try to explain it. However, as whacky as it has been, I still feel more rested lately. Que sera sera.

I feel like I’m spinning my wheels on the eCourse as I am revisiting a bunch of lessons to make sure I have everything covered as I round the home stretch. If things go well, I’ll get my sales page draft done by the time I have my buddy call at 6 p.m. today. If not, so be it.

Looking forward to my Amazon delivery tomorrow. I can’t talk about what I ordered, but it is good stuff – one thing for business, another for my health. I’m trying to be good to myself, especially since I’ve been generating more stress lately than I like.

Yep, this is going up just shortly after midnight. Yep, I’m starting to “work” in the middle of the night tonight. I’m done tossing and turning. If I can’t shut my brain down to go to sleep, I might as well get up and be productive.

May you love the life you create for yourself. Namaste & ciao for now.
