Giving You My Mind, One Piece at a Time
I was awakened at 4 a.m. by the sound of a trap doing its job. I present today’s culprit:
It did turn out to be another deer mouse. What the picture does not accurately capture is the length of this little guy’s tail. I was almost twice as long as his body. Pretty impressive, actually.
I will release him to the front porch a little after sunrise. Meanwhile, I’m listening to him try to escape his prison. Hopefully, this is the last of the mice now that the hole in the water heater closet is sealed. I’m still going to have Cam stick some steel wool in behind the main bathroom toilet just to be sure though, especially if I still hear mouse sounds before he arrives.
I didn’t start searching for the title yet. I kept getting distracted by other little things around the house. I’m still feeling pretty good about my progress overall though.
I fell asleep early last night, so being awakened at 4 a.m. is not that big of a deal. I got my eight hours in, and I’m slowly moving toward that 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. cycle that I desire (but I still refuse to use an alarm clock to get there).
Some days I struggle to provide any kind of substantial update. When everything is “working” in my life, it’s pretty boring for spectators. I’ve finished the Chopra book I was listening to, and have moved on to one of his fictionalized books, “Buddha.” I’ve always enjoyed his fictionalized works on history/mythology, and this one is good as well.
Time to start my day in earnest. May you love the life you create for yourself. Namaste & ciao for now.
